The most attended Howard County Fair in years enjoyed by all!
Beautiful weather, record turn-out and smiling people…and that was just the start.
It’s become annual tradition…the extended Kittleman family joins together to walk in the Howard County fair’s closing celebration and parade. This year, the first in which Allan is Howard County Executive, was no different.
After a week of enjoying the fair, Team Kittleman swelled to over a hundred folks of all ages on this perfectly breezy Saturday night.
Together, each wearing their trusty yellow Kittleman t-Shirts, Team Kittleman marched up the parade route behind Allan and Robin Kittleman to loud cheers and smiling faces from the thousands of attendees. A few members of the crowd even joined in along the way!
It was quite a site to see.
“I haven’t missed a fair since my Dad brought me here way back when I was a kid. Now over 40 years later, man..has it been that long?…I love it more than ever. Not only has the Fair become a real summer destination for folks from all over Maryland, I have so much fun here with my friends and family. I truly look forward to it every year.” -Allan Kittleman.
Here at HQ, we want to join Allan in thanking everyone who marched with us at the Fair. We also want to give a very big thank you to Bev and John Startt who served as Kittleman parade captains, Apple Ford Lincoln of Columbia for letting us borrow a sweet 2015 Mustang GT for the afternoon, and Howard County Republican Central Committee Chair Loretta Shields who helped coordinate parade entries.
Their combined support and coordination is what made this event such a success. Thanks to them and everyone involved, it was easy to hear folks in the crowd say, “…look at all of the Kittleman supporters.”
Thanks again.
