Maryland is already leading the nation on access to broadband internet, and now we are taking a major step forward to ensure universal broadband for every single corner of the state by no later than 2025. Yesterday, I announced the launch of Connect Maryland, a game-changing initiative and investment of $400 million to meet this goal. This is another example of how we aren’t just committed to fully recovering from the pandemic, but we are committed to coming back even stronger and better than ever before.
